CBS Denver: Man Shot, Killed After Fights Near Downtown Denver Nov 4th 2012, 17:17 CBS Denver CBSDenver.com - News for Colorado and Denver from CBS4, plus Sports, Weather, Traffic and Top Spots Man Shot, Killed After Fights Near Downtown Denver Nov 4th 2012, 17:17 DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver investigated a deadly shooting in downtown Denver early Sunday morning. Police said it started as a fight around 1:20 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of 11th and Broadway. Detectives said the suspect pulled out a gun and shot another man. The victim died a short time later at the hospital. Police have arrested one man who is believed to be the gunman. Police have not identified the gunman or the victim. They also have not pinpointed the exact location of where the fight started but there are reports from witnesses that it happened at a bar or nightclub near 11th and Lincoln. Several blocks surrounding the shooting were blocked off Sunday morning, from 10th and Lincoln to 11th and Broadway and 11th and Sherman.
