(CBS4) – A person is believed to be lost in Cherry Creek Park Reservoir. A call for help went out at about 9 p.m. Saturday. A boater had somehow gotten out of the boat and into the reservoir. Another person in the boat made the emergency call. It isn’t clear what type of boat or how many people were in it. “The dive teams were out for quite a while searching, they were using sonar to try to find the person,” an official with South Metro Fire said. “They were unable to locate the person, so we’ve transitioned over into recovery now.” The recovery team was back out searching on Sunday.
