(CBS4) – One person is dead after a plane crash in Routt County on Saturday. The plane was discovered by a sheep herder at about noon north of Milner, which is about eight miles west of Steamboat Springs. It’s not known when the crash occurred. Deputies arrived and confirmed a male solo occupant was deceased. The aircraft is a single engine Piper. The National Transportation Safety Board and the have been notified.
