The Atlantic Wire: Pussy Riot Are On the Run Aug 26th 2012, 15:03 The Atlantic Wire Latest entries Pussy Riot Are On the Run Aug 26th 2012, 14:58 The official Twitter account for the Russian punk band Pussy Riot announced that two of their members have left Russia to avoid further persecution from Russian authorities.  Yekaterina Samutsevich, 30, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, 22, and Maria Alyokhina, 24, were sentenced to two years in jail for their role in the "Punk Prayer" video that sparked the whole controversy. Despite receiving worldwide criticism for persecuting the band members, Russian police announced earlier this week that they were pursuing more band members on more criminal charges.  The trouble is, Pussy Riot doesn't have a solid lineup. The group has between 10 and 20 members flexing in and out at all times. The tweet translates to say "In regard to the pursuit, two of our members have successfully fled the country!
